Cannot Join Domain But can Ping Domain Controller IP/Name

If you encounter an error whilst joining a machine to the domain controller but can ping the domain controller by its IP/Name.

Error: Domain controller (Server) cannot be contacted

Fix:

You should enter the Domain controller Server IP address manually in the machine’s DNS IP address (TCP/IPV4)

Save the settings , reboot the machine and it will allow you to join to the domain
